Thank You All, For An End Of An Era

Now I want to ride the train, stare out the window for hours long, Let my mind wander into the sky until a castle appears, So I can go on adventures only a child could conjure; Thank you all, for making me feel younger than I have ever been. I don't ever want to feel sober again, The high of loving every minute of living - too exciting, The empathy to understand eccentric personalities - too thrilling; Thank you all, for being the colours to my colour blind life. I may not be able to see colours, but I understand colour theory, As I try to see through your masks, to see you for who you truly are, To respect your flaws, admire your strengths, try to love every bit of you; Thank you...

Boredom is Lost, Lost is Bored

Concern begins to grow from the depths of his mind, As he waits for his next victim, Somewhere out there, beyond the horizon… Boredom sits silently in a cabin, Oh so demure, staring at the blank wall. A nonchalant way to channel his inner demons, As he counts the teardrops falling from the sky, He begins to wonder…  “Are those teardrops mine?” But they have been forgotten, Being always frustrating to be with, Robbing people of their innocence, They were casted out with hatred, Replacing them with the guidance of windowed cages. Their hands are empty, Nothing to do, nothing to hold, Save the cigarette slit between their fingers, Moving from lip to hip, and hip to lip,  Lighting inquisition within their mind.
