A friend of mine, who was fresh out of college, decided to start a music blog. She wanted to bring me along for the ride. I was doing my degree that time. So without hesitation, I said yes. I have always enjoyed music and have a strong passion towards listening to to the many of songs out there in the world. Although my interest was first fixated on rock n' roll, my taste has branched out from one genre to the multiple facets music has to offer. During the time of writing this blog, I was still fresh as a writer, but I learned a lot from my friend, the editor of this blog, who had way more experience when it comes to writing articles. All in all it was an experience filled with discovery, of finding new music and finding my writing voice. Below are the few articles I wrote for RocketFuelMag:

PREFACE Branding is the beginning of a great many things. We wouldn’t be using a smartphone if Apple had not branded the iPhone the way they did. A lot of things are created through branding. And because of that, they are everywhere. Even we, as an individual, are considered as a brand… If you didn’t already know this, let it sink in for a bit. If you think branding is a business, think again. It’s more than that. It’s about creating an identity, building relationships, and creating an impression that will stand against the test of time. The Articles I Wrote During My Time At Ganforhire: 1.  Deadpool is just... Deadpool 2.  The Times They Are A-Changing, Nobel Prize Style 3. Overwatch: It's More Than Just A Game 4. Malaysian Hospitality No More? 5. The Unorthodox Adventure of Louis Vuitton 6.  The Outsiders That Changed The World 7.  The Recipe For Marketing Madness 8.  Your Data, Your Story 9.  Ganforhire...

The Reality of Freelancing

A freedom everyone longs for yet clueless about People think freelancers have it all: the abundance of free time, an active social life and a steady income to go with it. What a cool lifestyle to live by… almost like the perceptions placed on rock stars in the music industry – carefree, liberating and elusive. Sadly, just like the shaky, unpredictable and tempestuous life of a rock star, that is merely the surface of a freelancer’s reality. Simply put, a misconception of a perception in itself.

Money, It's a Gas

Surviving through a money-driven world “Money, get away, get a good job with more pay and your O.K.” Pink Floyd sang that through their hit song “Money”. They couldn't have sang a better song about money and how it’s the driving force in life. Without it, one could not eat or drink, nor can one gain shelter or even have a bed to sleep on. The expenses required for us to live has been rising and rising, thus making money a necessity for us to live.

The Hanging Out Experience

Sharing knowledge through communication Is hanging out really an issue? From my point of view, the more we hang out with someone, the more we'll understand the particular individual. It’s like going on a date – without the flirting. When we hang out, we are practically socializing, sharing the thoughts that cloud our minds. We talk about life, we share the information we consume, we talk about our interests, and we also gossip. Most important of all, hanging out gives us the opportunity to get to know people.
