Here I am, many a man

Here I am, many a man

Here I am, on the road to find out
"How many roads must a man walk down
Before you call him a man?"
As the poets know only to study rules and verses.

Here I am, Mr Non-Conformist
Keep your riches and your gold
And I will keep my heart full of soul;
As I choose not to be one of the hive.

Here I am, the Lonely Boy
In love with music, in love with books,
As the words come flying into my brain,
"I'll fall for certain girls as I fall for certain books."

Here I am the New Kid in town
Listening to all points of views,
Not allowing others to deceive me;
Answers are better found by one's self.

Here I am, a Music man
Listening to many a tunes,
Through the changing of times;
As I speak up for the voiceless hums.

Here I am, a Smoking man
Killing myself overtime,
Easing my mind; it is my satisfaction,
For we all consume our own poison.

Here I am, the Journeyman
Seeing and observing people all around;
Understanding who I am, no one can take what is mine;
Being friends with the open-minded kind.

Here I am, a Different man,
With wisdom and knowledge, I ain't the same
Still following my roots, I have not changed
Better said; always going forward leads to nowhere.
