Conversation with Death #1

Me:
Damn these wounds,
Oh how they hurt so much...
How can you be so cruel
Burying shards of me, with her.

Death:
Sorry little humie,
But all this pain you feel,
On your already tormented soul,
Is the only way you can grow.

Me:
You've taken away the warmth,
Of Love around my arms...
How will I ever be ok,
With this void within my soul?

Death:
Such is the process of loss,
A justified juxtaposition,
For you to discover life,
And realise your full potential.

Me:
There should be a limit,
As to how much pain,
Can be inflicted,
Upon a person, at a time.

Death:
Yes, 'tis an unfortunate catharsis,
But Reality has its chains.
I am binded by them...
Just like you.
