The Blind, an example

The beauty of life,
Covers the everyday surroundings,
Provided by God and manufactured by men,
We roam through this jungle of predicament,
To see the creations that be;
The beauty of knowledge.


Some who are able to see,
are blind themselves; saying 'seeing is believing',
But what of those who are blind from birth,
And those whose sight has been taken away from them?
How true can that statement be?
When they can see beauty in the dark.

To hear, to smell and to feel
the creations presented by God to men,
Embracing themselves from the sight taken away,
Personality matters more than appearance;
For we are all born on a different cloud.

Stevie Wonder found beauty through music,
Helen Keller through activism and words,
Franklin Roosevelt became the president of America,
guiding them through a time of crisis;
And together, they inspire the visually impaired.

Although knowing they have an unfortunate disorder,
They know God makes no mistakes,
As they set an example to the world;
That even without sight,
One can still witness true happiness.
