Judgement of Man

I didn't mean to be so mean,
I was merely speaking out of term,
I thought I knew who you were,
I didn't understand your state of mind;
That man and man are not the same.

They both have their point of view,
While neglecting the common sense of the two,
You inebriate their intuition through your insolent own;
Thus choosing to look the other way.

Appearance over Personality,
You chose to judge before you knew,
What kind of philosophy were the two;
As you aggravate their Achilles's heel,
You fail to see the pain bestowed upon them.

One religion, one individual;
Understanding in lieu of judgement,
They have a mind to call their own,
As they walk through a myriad of hallways.

So where do you lie with this ego by your side?
No different from the cuss boasting his vanity,
You spend no time understanding the stories that lay,
Nor do you see the visage through the mirror's glare;
For you only walk through the hallway you're in.
