Time to Think

Through the travels being spent,
Passing by the rainy and sunshiny days,
Rendering the confusions through the crossroads that lay,
Move forward on the path content with
And bypass the shallow muddy rivers ahead;
For there is no time to think.

The rambler comes to smell, to see and to hear,
Like Alice once did in Wonderland,
Roaming around with curiosity and feel,
But technology comes and occupies the mind,
As the manipulative screenings continue to rule;
Now there is less time to think.

Whether in a calm or a storm,
Small talk plays it part,
By feeding thoughts to the inner voice
But the yuppies snide in the shadows of their dreams,
Blissing through their insecured ignorance;
As they just refused to think.

With The Beatles, all you need is love;
Speak in tounges and roam freely,
To the unearthly land philosophers made bay,
Where pondering and thought is a virtue, not flaw,
As science and knowledge are adapted to the missing links;
But we decline to find the time to think.

Through the changes of winds,
And the songs for all seasons,
Fogerty wrote a song for all,
As Dylan sang for his changing times,
But its been a long time since we rock n' rolled;
We are in need of time to think.

Nurtured from young to old and vice versa,
Given a mindset or creating your own,
Your quirks develop the man you become,
While contemplating what makes your bell ring,
The twists of fate derails your pursuit from happiness;
Now is the time to think.

  2. Thanks for the comment 'anonymous'. I really appreciate the feedback. I made this blog because I wanted to find out if my writing was understandable to others. You made me realize that I am in need of improvement. Thanks a lot but I would appreciate it more if you made yourself noticeable instead of being anonymous. Thanks anyhow. =)
